I would not treat Economics Explained as reliable. Across many of their videos they focus on heterodox sources and ideas, and do not even explain what a contemporary mainstream view is, nor cite contemporary published papers in otherwise well regarded journals by the profession at large.
unfortunately, it's economics explained is mostly all nonsense. Patrick Boyle is pretty good and has better production value than most of the alternatives. The problem is that most of the high content quality videos have low production value and vice versa. https://www.youtube.com/@PBoyle.
