I'm well aware that Inside Edge isn't a flawless series. However, I certainly believe that it is really underrated. I think the series does a wonderful job at revealing to the viewers the dark side of cricket and how players are blackmailed and forced to fix matches.
Jul 20, 2017 · It’s a no-brainer that Inside Edge is a fictional take on the Indian Premiere League. The trailer itself informed us that there was going to be a lot of sex, drama and scandals in the show, and after having binge-watched the whole series, I can safely say, there really was.

- Gripping storyline. Inside Edge has an amazing screenplay, where each character gets its due. The story has been woven around the glamourous world of cricket and Bollywood, and what goes on behind the closed doors of the conference rooms of the team-owners.
- Stellar cast. The series has a talented bunch of artists--Richa Chadha, Vivek Oberoi, Sanjay Suri, Sayani Gupta, Tanuj Virwani and Angad Bedi to name a few.
- Interesting characters. Richa Chadha as the fading film star Zarina Malik will remind you of Preity Zinta while Angad Bedi's cool attitude is quite similar to that of Captain Cool MS Dhoni.
- The right mix of suspense and emotion. Every episode has an interesting cliff-hanger, that will compel you to watch the next episode. The suspense behind Vikrant Dhawan's (Vivek Oberoi) motive behind buying Mumbai Mavericks or Zarina's race against time to find a buyer for her team, successfully manages to keep you at the edge of your seat.
