Janis was mean for the entirety of the movie, yes, but I wouldn’t call her the main villain. Especially since Cady was the protagonist and the only thing Janis did to her was tell the school what she did.
It’s a good song and Auli’i Cravalho is an awesome singer but it effed up the narrative. Regina, Cady AND Janis were all mean girls in their own ways, and the growth they all have in the narrative is recognising it and dealing with it.
