Though it took longer than many expected, the latest news finds Prey 2 officially confirmed as the Predator franchise continues to blossom in the 2020s. Along with the announcement that the sequel is on the way, it was also revealed that a standalone film, Badlands, is also in development and will likely be released before Prey 2. Prey 2 might have taken a little longer to be green-lit than many fans anticipated, but the sequel was officially confirmed in February 2024. Along with the announcement of the Prey sequel, it was also revealed that a standalone film, Badlands, will be released first.
Who Will Return?
So far, the only name that is even potentially attached to the cast of Prey 2 is original star Amber Midthunder as Naru.
