  2. If you need the power, go 4.0. If you don’t need power, the 4 cyl is a great option. The 3.0 is equally as popular so there are a ton of used ones out there. I think the most common reliability issue would be that they pop head gaskets sometimes. Not enough to label them as a bad engine though.
