Cons. Terrible commute into the city. People will tell you the bus is there but will leave out that weehawken is the last stop on the line and by then the buses are crowded so the buses sometimes don't stop at all and you have to wait for the next bus. Weekends will be the worse. Boring.
Weehawken has a lot of older homes you can get for well below what they’re worth if upkept. I personally bought a very old beat up town home 1 year ago and have been renovating since. Work is tricky in weehawken as they’re strict on permits and like I said these buildings are old so they need a lot of love.

My experience there was good due to the teachers. Teachers at Weehawken High School were always very attentive to what you needed help with, they would always be there for you.

Union city I don’t like. If you aren’t Hispanic you will stick out like a sore thumb. There’s also gang and drug activity there.
