Jason Friedberg (born October 13, 1971) and Aaron Seltzer (born January 12, 1974) are American and Canadian filmmakers. They have primarily worked on parody films , which they began writing and directing during the mid-2000s.
Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer met at the University of Santa Barbara, The two became best friends due to their love of movies and comedy becoming almost like brothers. Neither of them had plans of becoming filmmakers, Setlzer was an art history major, and Freiburg a general history major.
