Todd looks like he’s a young college kid in Breaking Bad and then in El Camino with the flashbacks he doesn’t look the same at all. He looks like he’s in his late 30s to early 40s and gained about 80 pounds. It completely takes you out of the story. Jesse also looks older, but it’s not as noticeable of a difference.

Since Walt killed Todd with the Uncle Jack crowd, we know this is a flashback to while Jesse was captive, while Todd was the thin Todd. There is no “lore” explantation that would make any sense. Plemmons simply gained weight between the filming of BB and the filming of EC.
