The Church of St. Augustine and St. John, commonly known as John's Lane Church, is a large Catholic church located on Thomas Street, Dublin, Ireland. It was opened in 1874 on the site of the medieval St. John's Hospital, founded c. 1180. It is served by the Augustinian Order of friars.

Even by human standards the story of John's Lane is a remarkable one. It begins about 1180, in the time of the Normans, and runs on through war and peace, joy and tears, foundation and expansion, consolidation, suppression, emancipation, liberation and so to our own day and the Irish Republic.
It’s officially known as Church of St Augustine & St John the Baptist, but to most Dubliners it’s called John’s Lane Church, and it’s spire is the most recognisable landmark on Thomas Street. In fact, its steeple is the highest steeple in the city, standing at over 200 feet (61.0 m).
The Roman Catholic Church of St. Augustine and St. John, more commonly known as John Lane's Church, is one of Dublin's most beautiful churches. It's centrally located in the city and it's beautiful exterior gives a hint of the equally beautiful interior.
