John Boni was a very fine writer, producer, stand-up comic and even an actor. Taking the last of these first, he was a fine musical comedy performer working off-Broadway, most notably with a long-running role in the longer-running show, The Fantasticks.
John Boni (1937-2019), sometimes listed as John Boni Jr., was a television writer and stand-up comic who was on the writing staff of The Electric Company, sharing in an Emmy Award in 1973.
