The Katy Trail is a 3.5-mile trail that runs through the city of Dallas, offering scenic views and access to restaurants and entertainment. It is built on a former railroad corridor and is planned to be extended another three miles to the east.
This is my go to place after a flight into DFW or a few days working in town (or eating high calorie USA meals). It's a path full of locals walking, talking, jogging, roller-blading and even cycling through a central Dallas location. An easy as you like 5km up and back trail central (ish) to downtown.
