Mercia vagy a Merciai Királyság (óangol nyelven Miercna rīce) egyike volt a hét angolszász királyságnak. Neve az angolszász mierce vagy myrce kifejezésből ered, ami határvidéki népet jelent. A királyság központját a Trent és mellékfolyóinak völgye képezte, az a régió amelyet ma Midlandsnak neveznek.
