210-547-3560. About Kirby Police Department. Established in 1968, the Kirby Police Department has served the Kirby community for over 50 years. Beginning with a Police Chief and three patrolmen, the department has grown to include a larger staff.
The City of Kirby is a full-service entity with a staff committed to providing the highest quality of service. Our services include administration, Fire/EMS, public safety, animal services, water, sewer, garbage collection and recycling, street maintenance, zoning, inspections and code enforcement.
The City of Kirby is proud to have sworn in our first female Police Chief on Thursday, September 23, 2021. Chief Roxanne Cardona was hired in November 2019 and promoted to Chief in September 2021.
Applications may be submitted online, in person at Kirby City Hall, 112 Bauman Street or through the Texas Municipal League website at www.tml.org. Police applicants must pick up paperwork from 4130 Ackerman Road.
