Lake Geneva (French: Léman ⓘ, lac Léman [lak lemɑ̃] ⓘ, rarely lac de Genève [lak də ʒ(ə)nɛv]; Italian: Lago Lemano; [3] German: Genfersee [ˈɡɛnfərˌzeː] ⓘ; Romansh: Lai da Genevra) is a deep lake on the north side of the Alps, shared between Switzerland and France.
