  5. Season 1 (1958–59) Dan Troop arrives in Laramie as the new marshal, following the killing of his predecessor David Lemp by town bully Flynn Hawks and his two brothers. He meets Lemp's widow Dru who owns a hash house and hires her assistant Johnny McKay as his deputy.
