Markeith Demangzlo Loyd (born October 8, 1975) is an American convicted murderer who was sentenced to death for the murder of Orlando Police Lieutenant Debra Clayton. Loyd was found guilty in November for the January 2017 killing of Lt. Clayton and was sentenced to death following a unanimous jury recommendation in December.
