Mantra Modifiers are items that can be used to expand the potential of the player's Mantras. Each modifier has an effect that it can positively/negatively attribute to the player's Mantra. These can easily be found by killing most enemies, and can also be found in Erisia Chests.
Most Mantra modifiers increase the ether cost of a Mantra. It is possible for a Mantra to consume most or all of a player's ether upon one use. You can also change the name of a Mantra by putting it on a Mantra table and saying the name you want it to be.
Mantra Tables can be used to modify most Mantras in Deepwoken. To use the Mantra Table, you must first recall a Mantra while resting. Next you must add the Mantra to the table along with modifiers.

There are 7 sparks in the game, and combined with the 164 mantras there are a total of 1148 possibilities for mantra spark combination, but there are only 38 in the game.
