In 2018, Forstater started a new company with video producer and composer Nathan Neuman, to explore new digital entertainment possibilities, such as VR and AR. Forstater produced his latest film Swipe Fever , directed by Nathan Neuman during lockdown in 2020, and is scheduled for theatrical release in the UK in February 2023.
In 1974 he produced Monty Python and the Holy Grail, in 1981 XTRO and in 2022 the Gen Z romcom Swipe Fever. He has produced 30 other films, TV dramas and documentaries, an album of Chinese music, 7 non-fiction books and audiobooks as well as 4 daughters and 3 Grandsons.
