Apr 4, 2007 · I read about it in the Dallas Morning News obituaries yesterday. Probably steroid or drug related. He was a former bodybuilding champion. I really do believe the drugs greatly increase the chances for cardiac death in some people. Got to stay monitored. Lots of guys get enlarged hearts and die of acute heart failure or heart attack.

Yeah, even as a full on bodybuilder he was still lifting heavy as well. He deadlifted 800lb for two reps a few weeks out from competition, and he squatted 800lb for two reps in a squat suit as well. His best bench was 495x5.
