McCloud Falls are a great stop on Highway 89. The falls don’t have the staggering beauty that Burney Falls does, but being able to see three different pieces of a waterfall without even hiking is not something you can often do.
Easy hike with beautiful falls. McCloud Fall are not as impressive as other falls, but if you are in the area - they should not be missed. The park entrance is free and you can drive and park next to the lower falls. Lots of people fishing \in the river just above the lower falls. You can see the fish swimming.

The Lower Falls was really more of a wide swimming and play waterfall with a stocky 12-15ft drop into a deep and emerald green pool.
