In 1994, Bell starred in the Dolph Lundgren film Men of War. While filming the movie in Thailand, Bell and her co-star Trevor Goddard bonded over contracting amoebic dysentery . Goddard would play Bell's off-and-on love interest Mic Brumby the following year on JAG .

Some solid performances by Dolph, Catherine Bell, Tom Wright and especially B.D. Wong as the moral center of the movie. The DVD box says 'R for Non-Stop Violence' so perhaps the MPAA only watched… Review by Andrew Miller ★★★½ 8
