WintertimeFriends. •. Mike Nelson was always a devout Christian and a conservative when he was making all the episodes we dearly love. He deserves the befit of the doubt based on the fact he was the head writer on a show I considered to skew to the left. Which means he put aside his politics for the sake of creativity.
Michael John Nelson (born October 11, 1964) is an American comedian and writer, most known for his work on the television series Mystery Science Theater 3000 ( MST3K ). Nelson was the head writer of the series for most of the show's original eleven-year run, and spent half of that time as the on-air host, also named Mike Nelson.
