    Michele Ameen Billy (born 15 February 1949; age 75) is an actress who played an Epsilon IX station lieutenant in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. At the time, she was concurrently serving as the secretary to Harold Livingston, the film's screenwriter. While working on the movie she met, and later married the film's associate producer, Jon Povill, and took the name Michele Billy Povill.

    She was interviewed in 2001 for the special feature Phase II: The Lost Enterprise on the Star Trek: The Motion Picture (The Director's Edition) DVD.

    She graduated from Tufts University's Drama and Dance faculty in 1975 and later earned a degree in Theater at the University of Mary Washington.

    Since the 1980s, she has been working as sales manager, marketing director and account manager in the entertainment industry, at different radio stations and film and television production companies. In 2013, she worked as a production assistant on an episode of the documentary series The Devil You Know.

    Along with Povill, they have two sons, Andrew and Sean, and work actively in the entertainment industry. The couple currently resides in Vancouver, Canada.

    She continued her acting career with roles in the 2015 film The Birdwatcher and the 2018 Lifetime original TV movie Christmas Pen Pals, as well as guest appearances on the series Garage Sale Mysteries (2015) and Riverdale (2018, with Mädchen Amick).
