Apr 15, 2009 · Another collector asked me today if there is a single ROM (eliminate all the ROMs, but one) hack for Missile Command, like there is for other Atari games, such as Centipede and Tempest. My initial thought was there has to be, but in searching today I am not finding it (very surprising).

Jun 25, 2005 · This hack provides 3 launchers. Both players share left stick to move, and left/down/right on the right stick to fire (trackball+Starplex button controller should make a good combo). The left stick fire button will pause the game at any point.

Nov 26, 2022 · Missile Command has a couple of hardware blitters that read pixels from separate video banks, and the bank causing the problem returned 2 bits via P7 (74153), R7 (7475) and R6 (74125). P7 checked out OK, but R7 and R6 were not so easy to test – replacing both chips solved the problem.
