  3. May 25, 2023 · People use the mountain every day as the perfect escape from the city bustle. It’s a place to jog, walk, hike, bike, skate, cross-country ski, snowshoe and toboggan. In the summer there are even rowboats for rent at Beaver Lake, and for winter, there are ice skates for rent at the Beaver Lake Pavilion.

    The closest metro station is Mount Royal and from there you can take Bus 11 If you find yourself on the Park Avenue side of the mountain, you can also take Bus 80 or Bus 129

    My favourite way of enjoying any city is by walking and Montreal is definitely a great cityfor that. You can get to the lake easily by walking up the hill from downtown.
