Though Abraham and Sarah were unable to have children for many years, God promised them a son. It’s hard to imagine all the pain and uncertainty they must have endured as the years ticked by and they tried to hold on to God’s promise.
Hannah was one of the most important women in the Bible. She was the mother of Samuel, who was a key figure in the Old Testament. Hannah was barren for many years, and she prayed for a child. God answered her prayer, and Hannah gave birth to Samuel. She was a woman of great faith, and her story is an inspiration to many.
