The place is kept very clean and the trains are usually on schedule except for the summer when there are issues, I'd imagine, with overheating."

Also, pay attention to the track monitors. You can get to both NYC and Hoboken from that platform and there is not really a "regular" track trains show up on. Reply. Award. Share. felsonj. • 10 days ago. Transferring on the platform is fine. The area outside the station is so desolate though.
Newark Broad Street Station Dangerous? Advice. I recently turned 21 and my friends and I want to go bar hopping. The other thing I was considering was taking NJ transit from Hoboken to Newark Broad St. since this is about a 15 minute ride. I’m not familiar with the station at ALL, but my office does provide shuttles to and from both stations.
