4-H is the largest youth development program in Ohio! Located in the Lausche Youth Exploration Space, a portion of the building is used as exhibit space for 4-H projects and judging activities during the Ohio State Fair.
No matter which county you visit, you can find people who have been impacted by the four major OSU Extension program areas: family and consumer sciences, 4-H youth development, community development, and agriculture and natural resources.
Pre-fair activities are underway, with judges reviewing 4-H members’ efforts with dog, alpaca, llama, dairy goat, horse, and rabbit projects. The fair begins July 27 with remaining livestock activities, and still project judging will be held each day in the Lausche Youth Center.

Mar 27, 2024 · 4-H Event Youth Assistant (4HEYA) applications are now available! This is an opportunity for teens 13-18 as of January 1 to get a short-term experience at the state level. Applications are available at go.osu.edu/4HEYAapp and are due by May 15, 2024.
