The North Dallas High School Army JROTC Battalion was established as a National Defense Cadet Corps unit in 1922. It was reorganized in 1967 and re-designated as the 4th JROTC Battalion . Mission. Our mission is "To Motivate Young People to Become Better Citizens ."

Academic Team. Focuses on the knowledge part of the JROTC program. In the Academic Team, cadets expand their current knowledge and learn all about the history of the program. Cadets learn about the true definition of leadership and Honesty. Marksmanship Team. To qualify for this team you must be one of the top 10 shooters of the battalion.
