Highly Gifted Magnet. The HGM program was established in 1989 for students who have a measured IQ of 145+ and is designed to provide an academically challenging, college preparatory program.
The Highly Gifted Magnet is the only secondary school in the district whose purpose is to educate students identified as highly gifted. The LA Zoo/Biological Sciences Magnet offers a challenging college preparatory curriculum focused on animal studies and biological sciences.
