The Stop Sexual Harassment Act in NYC requires that employers provide an annual training on the protections against gender-based harassment, distribute a fact sheet, and post a notice on employees protections against gender-based harassment.
Every employer in New York State is required to provide employees with sexual harassment prevention training. The video below, which may be watched via YouTube or downloaded, meets all state minimum training requirements except one: the video alone is NOT considered interactive.

As of October 9, 2018, employers must provide their workers training on sexual harassment prevention. All employees, including part-time employees, must get training every year. New York State requirements are stronger than New York City's.
A1. If you believe that you have been sexually harassed, you should report the conduct to your employer, temporary agency, or placement agency. If your employer is your harasser, or you do not trust how your employer will react, you may contact the New York State Division of Human Rights (NYS DHR). NYS DHR can take complaints and investigate.
