So considering the time involved, I started looking for an alternative and I decided to try the poli glow product. They tout a 12+ month duration before needing to re-apply and once the first sets of coats have been applied you simply need to do another coat or two every 12 months.

Apr 3, 2024 · Poli Glow is not a one-and-done solution. Poli Glow must be maintained for best results. Maintenance for Poli Glow includes washing the finish with a PH neutral wash, drying, then applying 2-3 new coats every 8-10 months in temperate climates and 3-4 new coats every 6-8 months in hot climates.
I used the orange chamois style cleaning rag that you would find at the dollar store. People use them to mop or clean around the house. I cut that into a nice square a little bigger then my hand. I then wet the rag with water and squeezed it as dry as I can. I then began to use the poli glow.
