Oct 16, 2018 · Quarry Park Adventures in Rocklin, Calif., celebrated its grand opening Oct. 13 after months of financial and construction delays. “The granite, it’s nothing but 70 feet of granite they had to build in,” said David Busch, president of Quarry Park Adventures.

The adventure park is built into and around what was one of the largest working granite quarries in California, the Big Gun Quarry. The park utilizes the huge quarry’s sheer walls, the quarry’s floor, the quarry rim, the 2-acre lake and even the 60-foot-high waterfall.
