Preddy Creek Park. This 571-acre park offers 16 miles of trails for mountain biking, hiking, running and horseback riding. This park is known to have the best mountain biking system in the area. Note: State Law requires that visitors carry a copy of a negative Coggins report with each horse brought to the park.

Preddy Creek Trails Park is a 571-acre wilderness park in north-eastern Albemarle County that opened to the public in April 2011. It is the first park in Albemarle County with equestrian trails.
This is the Preddy Creek Loop at Preddy Creek Park. There are no long climbs or descents, but the trail keeps rolling up and down as it traverses the park. The Preddy Creek Loop is made up of mostly wide singletrack that's still smooth.
