Sep 13, 2022 · ROOSTER: SPURS OF DEATH – This cosmically bad and tasteless movie was completed in 1977 but not released until 1983, presumably because there’s never been much demand for films from the ugly subgenre of cockfighting flicks. (Cocksploitation?)
I felt the writing was doody, the acting was spotty, the story wasn't all that interesting once it got down to it.. unique enough to pay attention to, and Good enough to watch on YouTube though ~~. Review by proofrock ★★★. Every other movie about cockfighting — except one — is the second best movie about cockfighting.
