The Gateway Arch has been redone and greatly improved. The new museum has a lot of exhibits about St. Louis history and the arch -- and it is free. Riding to the top of the arch still requires a fee, but is worth it, especially on a clear day.

Like so many other museums in St. Louis there is no charge. But, if you want to go up the arch then there is a fee. The museum is underneath the arch and the grounds are quite large and have excellent Wi-Fi and are free.
