This year, the City of San Marcos Fire Department once again held a fun and successful Junior Fire Academy. Started in 2016, the Junior Fire Academy is a program designed for children in grades 3-5, offering them a unique opportunity to experience the day-to-day life of a firefighter.
Junior Fire Academy day camp is a chance for children to learn about some of the daily operations of the San Marcos Fire Department and have some fun in the process. The program is open to boys and girls in elementary and middle school.
