  1. True fans of experimental rock band, dredg, are not looking for El Cielo Part 2, or even Catch Without Arms Part 2. What admirers of the band want is an evolution in sound and a return to the creative energy that made them fall in love with the band in the first place.

  2. Review Summary: The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion is rather like the six-billionth World Citizen, struggling to find his identity and place in this world. Dredg’s second album, El Cielo, was truly a superlative album and, I think, will never be supplanted as dredg’s magnum opus.

  5. Sep 28, 2009 · Pariah Parrot Delusion is the strongest Dredg I've heard. Still, too much of it is plain sentimental pop, unfit to deserve anything above 3 stars. The band is obviously talented. Most of the music consists of tastily wrought layered rock songs with plenty of variation in playing and instrumentation.

  6. Review Summary: Dredg's fourth album is a centaur of pop and art that walks with a limp but has a heart of gold. When Dredg released El Cielo in 2002, it wasn't met with much negative criticism.
