You’ll meet the inhabitants of the rocky reef and kelp forest ecosystem found in the Salish Sea.

The Seattle Aquarium is conveniently located near Stop C on the shuttle’s route. Shuttles arrive approximately every 15 minutes and run 10am–8pm daily. The shuttle operates from May 24–September 2.

Located on Pier 59 and overlooking the Elliott Bay, the Aquarium is a public aquarium, and was opened in 1977. Initially owned and operated by the City of Seattle, Department of Parks and Recreation, until 2010 when the nonprofit Seattle Aquarium Society, took it over.
