10/10. Excellent and provocative. skookum1 31 May 2006. I saw Secret Nation on a late-night cable network broadcast and was immediately struck that this was one of the only genuinely political films I've ever seen come out of English Canada.
Secret Nation: Directed by Michael Jones. With Cathy Jones, Mary Walsh, Michael Wade, Rick Mercer. A graduate history student returns to her native Newfoundland, searching for proof of a conspiracy surrounding the referendum that saw Newfoundland join Canada.
