Serge Houde (born February 16, 1953) is a Canadian film and television character actor, as well as the father of fellow actor Harrison Houde. He is best known for his role in Jon Cassar 's Emmy-nominated miniseries The Kennedys playing the notorious Chicago mafia boss Sam Giancana opposite Tom Wilkinson and Barry Pepper .

Perhaps most well known for his portrayal of Sam Giancana in the miniseries The Kennedys, he is also notable for his recurring role as Ben MacRae in Les Rescapes and for his starring role as John Sullivanin the French television series Largo Winch.
He began his acting career in his mid-thirties, making his television debut in a 1988 episode of L'Amour avec un Grand A.
In 2014, he portrayed Principal Welch in the Nickelodeon TV movie Santa Hunters and in 2015, he played the recurring role of Judge Roy Parker in When Calls the Heart.
