Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue (CBBR) is a 501c3 not-for-profit-organization with a 20 year history of rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing so-called “bully breed” dogs—American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, and other bully mixes.
Midwest Rescue of Illinois, Inc. is a small-but-passionate pit bull rescue serving people and pets in the Chicago area. We're one of the Chicago area's oldest pit bull rescues. We're volunteer-powered and foster-based. We are licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Department of Agriculture. We hold 501c3 nonprofit status (EIN 14-1855007).
We rescue “bully” breeds from high kill shelters and urgent situations throughout the Chicagoland area. These are dogs who have been discarded, abused, abandoned and exploited by society. When we bring a dog into our rescue, they are making a “pit stop” to their forever home.

Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer animal rescue organization that specializes in the bull breeds especially pit bulls. We rescue abused, unwanted and stray dogs and find them responsible, safe homes where they can thrive both physically and mentally.
