Sister Kieran’s ministry of education included elementary school teaching in St. Joseph and St. Anthony Schools in Yonkers and St. Mary in Wappinger’s Falls.
Jan 27, 2022 · Sister Mary Kieran Mulligan, S.C., who taught at St. Mary’s School in Wappingers Falls for 30 years, died Dec. 29 at Mount St. Vincent Convent in the Bronx. She was 83. Sister Kieran was at St. Mary’s, 1970-2000. She also taught in Yonkers at St. Anthony’s, 2000-2012, and St. Joseph, 1960-1970.

Oct 26, 2018 · Upon retiring from education, Sister Kieran volunteered at the Convent of Mary the Queen, visiting the sick sisters, sitting with the dying (who took away all fear of dying by the peaceful deaths she witnessed), and accompanying them to doctor appointments.
