Nancy Ruth Mace (born December 4, 1977) is an American politician who has been the U.S. representative for South Carolina's 1st congressional district since 2021. Her district includes much of the state's share of the East Coast, from Charleston to Hilton Head Island.
Congresswoman Nancy Mace made history as the first woman to graduate from The Citadel in 1999 and later became the first Republican woman elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from South Carolina. She sits on the House Armed Services, Veteran’s Affairs and Oversight committees.
