By Car
The Hamptons are located at the tip of Long Island’s South Fork, a straight shot from New York City. The drive normally takes about 2+ hours (about 100 miles). Fortunately, Southampton is on the western edge of the Hamptons and a little quicker to get to.
By Bus

The Long Island Railroad (LIRR) combines convenience and affordability. The route takes 3 hours so this is especially a great option during summer months when the roadways are jammed with cars.
