Caught a couple of Dark Tower references in Storm of the Century. I probably missed a few more (I’m only halfway through part one) before but there’s a character named Sonny Brautigan and another character tries to call the police station in another town broadcasting from channel 19.
While reading the Wolves of the Calla, I thought to myself, "This story seems vaguely familiar. The town hall meetings, the kids being in peril," then it struck me: Storm of the Century. It's been about 13 years since I read the screenplay, but are there any connections from it to the Dark Tower?
