Jun 15, 2020 · #2. My view is that with the .17 calibres, they do ricochet and they do fragment and carry onward with energy BUT it is a lot less energy due to weight than a 22LR. I shoot on a farm in Sussex that is very flinty and can hear the 22s bounce.

Aug 16, 2009 · After seating the Noslers .020' off the lands, I compared my bullet seating depths with a stray factory cartridge and found that the factory bullet was seated over .200' inches more than my own reloaded rounds.
Apr 10, 2020 · More than once I've found spent bullets or empty .22's in the driveway, decks or in the house. They get stuck I the tread of my boots. I you drop it off at the local P.D. it'll get put into evidence for a year or two.
