    The Amityville Horror film series has quite a list, some more compelling and some very much mock titles. This page tries to cover all it. However, for unreleased and announced film projects not out yet, go here. Documentaries are listed here.

    This list includes films that have been titled as such, but might not be true Amityville Horror based films. This list however doesn't include misleading titled films. This list is what the the "Chronology Overall" follows in the infoboxes for films.

    The films that go in this group are based on the events of the Lutz and/or the DeFeo. The films in these cases had theatrical releases.

    •The Amityville Horror (1979) - This is the base film in the canon. Follows the story of the Lutz.

    •Amityville II: The Possession - This is a prequel to the base film in the canon. It follows the story of the DeFeo murders, though they renamed the family to Montelli.

    •The Amityville Horror (2005) - This is a direct remake of 1979 film. Again, it follows the story of the Lutz.

    This canon starts off with the 1979 film and goes though all films to Amityville Dollhouse. While the films didn't follow all continuity with each other, they somewhat still stay apart in plot enough to build on each other.

    Not tied to Amityville franchise, however references the Ed and Lorraine Warren accounts of the Amityville investigation. Film "The Conjuring 2" does a reenact the [[|DeFeo Murders (Real Life)|DeFeo Murders]].

    This films are made loosely based in a small part to Lutz or DeFeo stories, but are really be a different story and will not aim to work with either stories. The aim of the film is to get the works watched by fans of the Amityville Horror series. This doesn't necessarily mean the film is bad.

    •Terror in Amityville Park (1977) - Otherwise known as "Prey", or more wildly known as "Alien Prey". The film got retitled for the italian audience as "Terrore ad Amityville Park".

    •Amityville: The Final Chapter (2015) - Otherwise known as "Sickle".

    •Amityville: Vanishing Point (2016)

    •Amityville Prison (2017) - Otherwise known as "Against the Night".
