The Cat Returns (猫の恩返し) is a Japanese animated drama film directed by Hiroyuki Morita of Studio Ghibli. It was theatrically released in Japan on July 19, 2002 through the Toho Company. It was released theatrically in the United States on May 2, 2003 and later released on DVD by Buena Vista Distribution in February 22, 2005.
