Secret player names are easter eggs which give different effects based on the name the player chose on character creation. Some may benefit the player with various items, while some may make the game harder or even impossible with effects such as an Auric Ore trail. They may also change the appearance of the player. "Fanny"
Your player will permanently be in the bottom right corner of the screen, and an AI player with the appearance of Fanny will play the entirety of the mod. You have a dialogue input box, and you need to guide Fanny to beat the game. You can give helpful hints such as attack strategies, but also bad tips such as going in the dungeon before Skeletron is defeated. If you sucessfully manage to guide Fanny to beat Supreme Calamitas, you will unlock a hidden ending.
"Xeroc"
As soon as your character is created, the menu music will mute, the logo will disappear, and the background will become grayscale. In the character select screen, your character have a black censor and the name will be gibberish. Upon entering the world, you will be struck by a beam of light. After dying, the game will close and your character's ".plr" file will be deleted from the files. Your wallpaper will also change to an ominous image of the word "Do not." repeated multiple times.
•The name "Jungle Jyrant Jharim" is a reference to Godseeker, Yharim, also known as "Jungle Tyrant, Yharim".
•The name "Crab secret" is a reference to popular internet streamer DougDoug, where in one of his Pajama Sam AI streams, the topic of "the crab secret" was brought up multiple times.
•The name "YuH" is a reference to the Calamity developer GinYuH, who has worked on many Calamity-related addons.
•The name "Dron" is a reference to the boss of the same name.
•The name "Fanny" is a reference to the character "Fanny the Flame" from the addon "Calamity: Community Remix".
•The name "Xeroc" is a reference to the Calamity lore figure, Xeroc. The effects are a reference to the addon "Wrath of the Gods" by Dominic K.

The Community is an accessory that is dropped by Leviathan and Anahita. When equipped, it grants the player various offensive, defensive, and mobility stat boosts which scale as the player progresses through the game by defeating more bosses.
The Calamity Mod adds a plethora of new weapons and equipment for all classes, including its new rogue class, to use throughout the game.
